How to Save Time with Your Social Media Strategies

Social media marketing can take up a lot of time and can be quite a difficult task to handle on your own. Many companies are working with management companies for their social media strategies to make sure that their updates are done regularly, analytics are monitored and engagement is kept at an all-time high with followers. One of the best ways to save time is to create evergreen content that can be put on your blog and then condensed into a social media post. Evergreen content always stays relevant and it can later be turned into a video, podcast or even into an infographic. You can repurpose your content if it is done correctly using high quality content as a starting point. Repurposing content must be done carefully, however, since using the same content for posts on different media channels can backfire. If followers are viewing your posts on 2 different sites and see that they are exactly the same, you’ll lose your credibility in the field. Repurposing is a powerful tool but it must be used properly. Current events must be published in real time. These events may include newsworthy stories, national holidays, company events etc. Make sure that you post engaging content on social sites such as Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook to show that you are up-to-date with current events. If you have an interesting company event and post videos of it, you may find that some of your followers decide to attend your next upcoming event. Every post must have the end-user in mind and you must have interesting content that is engaging. Think of the user experience you are offering and whether you would find it compelling as a follower. In the digital world of business it’s more important than ever to establish a well-grounded social network with a variety of connections. Companies can reach out to others through LinkedIn to build a solid list of connections that can help strengthen a business. LinkedIn marketing can drive in more business, increase brand awareness, educate customers and promote job opportunities in your company. It’s important to get your brand established on LinkedIn in order to instill confidence in your business. Company Page Setting up a company page for your brand is the first step towards making your business known to others on this social site. If you don’t yet have a profile on LinkedIn, you’ll need to get one set up for your company before working on your page. It will need to be set up properly using the right keywords that will attract others to your page. If you don’t know how to set up your profile and need help with your LinkedIn company page, you can give us a call today at (416) 226-0563.   LinkedIn Marketing The first thing you need to do is establish some goals for your social marketing. You can use this site for social selling, to establish your business as a leader in the field or to recruit talented individuals into your company. Examine what you’d like to achieve and then focus on the most important one first. When you set out specific goals that are measurable and time-limited, you can remain focused and get the job done. One of the best ways to get more followers on your page is to publish valuable updates and articles regularly. These will appear in the news feeds of your followers and will help to build up more connections. You should add an image to the content as well since it has been proven that 98% more comments are provided to posts that include an image. You can also link any creative content such as videos you may have to LinkedIn. Another way to make a lot of connections is to join a LinkedIn group and become an active participant in it. When you participate in discussions in the group it will naturally attract more visitors to your page. LinkedIn can often be ignored as a valuable social media site.
