Our Visit To Pursuit OCR: A One-Of-A-Kind Indoor Playground In Toronto

Epic indoor playground alert! 🚨Pursuit OCR is a new facility in Etobicoke aimed at incorporating recess into adults’ busy work weeks! The facility is strictly 18+ and is catered specifically to grownups to allow them to let loose their inner child.Speaking of the venue, located at 75 Westmore Drive, it is absolutely massive and offers an incomparable experience. No person can easily get bored seeing as the course presents a challenge for all people- regardless of their athletic backgrounds.Ticket pricing is comparable to other indoor play facilities, starting at $16+tax. The fee includes all day come and go privileges, complimentary parking as well as access to the full, mini arcade. Our team was happy to try everything that was offered. One of our favourite zones was a room filled with oversized exercise balls and strobe neon lighting. Here, guests were encouraged to flail the large yoga balls at others and bounce around, to their heart’s content.  The décor throughout the facility was bright, colourful and eccentric. Another thing to note, was that staff members were friendly and helpful, constantly offering words of encouragement as we made our way throughout the various spaces. Overall, the experience was a great one. Pursuit OCR truly offered a wonderful variety of obstacles to keep each of our team members occupied and excited.  Quick Tips: – Before visiting, we would recommend completing waivers at home on their website to save time– Consider packing food as the facility does not have a restaurant and the vending machines are expensive– Definitely bring a lock! Lockers are offered for free, but locks are sold separately for a high...

Is Your Business Suited For LinkedIn Advertising?

While many social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter offer good options for targeting, B2B companies often struggle with specifically getting attention from professionals within their industry. However, there is one platform that has both the reach and the targeting for B2B marketing, LinkedIn. However, LinkedIn is not for everyone, so here are a few tips to help you decide whether the platform is right for your business, and how to best use it. While often overlooked, LinkedIn is a powerful platform for B2B advertising because of the specific employment factors that can be targeted. While platforms like Facebook allow you to target by employment such as employer or job title, LinkedIn can also target by job function, seniority (such as VP or manager), years of experience, and industry. LinkedIn is also the second most popular social media platform in Canada in terms of users, with over 45% of online Canadians having their own profile. With a wide reach and laser-focused targeting, LinkedIn gives B2B marketers the opportunity to reach key decision makers for their product. However, LinkedIn is also known for its high average cost-per-click, which can range between $5 and $8. As a result, LinkedIn advertising usually works best for these purposes: High-Value B2B Products & Services A sale or lead for your business should be particularly valuable to justify the higher costs associated with LinkedIn. Big-ticket items or recurring services such as Software as a Service (SaaS) are best suited, as capturing high-value leads in those areas can create long-term relationships and thus higher revenue. As a rule of thumb, companies whose average size deal is $10,000 or more benefit the most from LinkedIn lead generation. Recruitment Finding the right person to hire can be difficult and costly for many businesses, especially when looking for niche skills or industry knowledge. Not only is LinkedIn known as a place show your resume, LinkedIn also can target job posts based on key professional traits, from “channel marketing” to “accounts payable”. You can also target people in specific job roles to see if they want to advance in a role or make a lateral move, such as targeting operations managers for an operations director role. As the platform becomes more popular throughout Canada and around the world, LinkedIn is increasing its value as a space for corporate branding, personal branding, and creating meaningful B2B connections. Companies that are looking for niche industry audiences should seriously consider shifting to LinkedIn as a powerful paid advertising platform. How to Save Time with Your Social Media Strategies

How to Save Time with Your Social Media Strategies

Social media marketing can take up a lot of time and can be quite a difficult task to handle on your own. Many companies are working with management companies for their social media strategies to make sure that their updates are done regularly, analytics are monitored and engagement is kept at an all-time high with followers. One of the best ways to save time is to create evergreen content that can be put on your blog and then condensed into a social media post. Evergreen content always stays relevant and it can later be turned into a video, podcast or even into an infographic. You can repurpose your content if it is done correctly using high quality content as a starting point. Repurposing content must be done carefully, however, since using the same content for posts on different media channels can backfire. If followers are viewing your posts on 2 different sites and see that they are exactly the same, you’ll lose your credibility in the field. Repurposing is a powerful tool but it must be used properly. Current events must be published in real time. These events may include newsworthy stories, national holidays, company events etc. Make sure that you post engaging content on social sites such as Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook to show that you are up-to-date with current events. If you have an interesting company event and post videos of it, you may find that some of your followers decide to attend your next upcoming event. Every post must have the end-user in mind and you must have interesting content that is engaging. Think of the user experience you are offering and whether you would find it compelling as a follower. Here at Qode Social, we are dedicated to helping you grow your presence on social media.
