How to Save Time with Your Social Media Strategies
Social media marketing can take up a lot of time and can be quite a difficult task to handle on your own. Many companies are working with management companies for their social media strategies to make sure that their updates are done regularly, analytics are monitored and engagement is kept at an all-time high with followers.
One of the best ways to save time is to create evergreen content that can be put on your blog and then condensed into a social media post. Evergreen content always stays relevant and it can later be turned into a video, podcast or even into an infographic. You can repurpose your content if it is done correctly using high quality content as a starting point.
Repurposing content must be done carefully, however, since using the same content for posts on different media channels can backfire. If followers are viewing your posts on 2 different sites and see that they are exactly the same, you’ll lose your credibility in the field. Repurposing is a powerful tool but it must be used properly.
Current events must be published in real time. These events may include newsworthy stories, national holidays, company events etc. Make sure that you post engaging content on social sites such as Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook to show that you are up-to-date with current events. If you have an interesting company event and post videos of it, you may find that some of your followers decide to attend your next upcoming event.
Every post must have the end-user in mind and you must have interesting content that is engaging. Think of the user experience you are offering and whether you would find it compelling as a follower.
