Online Reputation Management for Social Media

Many consumers first find out about a brand through their interactions on social media sites. As a business you are given the opportunity to target the most relatable and positive aspects about your brand through your posts. You must also, however, manage any negative perceptions that consumers may have about your brand very quickly. Social media is by far the most interactive platform for consumers and where they are running across the names of different brands. This means that the posts and the content about your brand must be enhanced and monitored along with the conversations that people are having in the comments sections. This allows your business to climb out of a hole if there are negative comments being made. One way to do this is to be totally transparent and proactive. Be willing to discuss and acknowledge any problems surfacing on social media and let consumers know how you are planning to improve the performance or quality of a product. Actively engage with consumers and be helpful in terms of any suggestions, problems or complaints that have surfaced. Every answer that you provide will be viewed by not only the person that has left a comment but by many others. This is your one chance to leave a positive impression on all viewers. Remain positive and understanding in your communications with others and you’ll see that this will go a long way. When you are engaging with consumers and being transparent with them, you will be building a reputation that is impeccable. At the same time, you must also post the positive aspects of your company including the product line, services, the workplace and your commitment to customer service. Instagram is a front-runner in terms of social media channels and is a great resource to use when you’re growing your business. Although most of the users of this platform are composed of millennials, older generations are starting to embrace the app more each day. While Facebook usually takes the spotlight when it comes to promoting a business on a social media network, Instagram is too big and powerful to be ignored. Motivate Your Followers and Fans No matter how many followers you have on Instagram, it’s important to give them the attention they deserve and get them motivated enough to spread the word about your business. Get everyone involved by engaging and asking for some suggestions about new products or services. This will not only strengthen the relationship that you have with your fans but will also give you valuable insights into potential new ideas to grow your company. Link with Influencers There are a lot of influencers on Instagram that can help you to grow your business by leaps and bounds. It’s always a good idea to look for an influencer within your field that can help to spread the word about your brand. This way, your content will be showing up on two different accounts, which will make your exposure much more significant, since these web celebrities usually have a considerable following. Don’t underestimate the power of influencers – especially on this social media platform. Share with Your Community Give back to the people that are constantly demonstrating brand loyalty. Offering giveaways and contests will likely motivate them to check your account more often, but make sure these giveaways are fun and exciting for your followers, emphasizing the idea of giving and not receiving. What Is The Facebook Pixel & Why Is It Important?

What Is The Facebook Pixel & Why Is It Important?

First off – what is the Facebook Pixel? The Facebook Pixel is a code that you put on your website to collect all sorts of data from your visitors (based on their Facebook profile) that can help you grow your business. While it may seem scary or overwhelming to think about, let’s break down why it’s so important. Track Conversion Facebook Pixels can help you gain insight into how often people are visiting your websites, pages or even subscribing to your newsletter. Conversion Optimization Conversion optimization helps skip all of the testing and monitoring who takes desired actions and pushes your content to those who will. Custom Audiences So now you have all this data. Why not create a custom audience? The Facebook Pixel allows you to create custom audiences for customers already perusing your website, and target them based on particular actions they have taken, including viewing content, making a purchase, or even abandoning a cart. Lookalike Audiences After creating a custom audience, you now have a strong handle on your visitors and customers – but growing your audience is also part of the game. Facebook will create what is known as a “Lookalike Audience”, which takes all of the information that your pixel has collected, finds similarities between users, and use it to make a bigger and wider spread audience similar to your already existing audience. Audience Insights While the Facebook Pixel may seem like an overwhelming mix of code and marketing strategies, customer insight is always important for any business owner large or small. Learning who your customers are can help you streamline the shopping process. While the Pixel is still in its infancy, it is helping change the game on how accurately you can identify and target an audience. It’s here to stay and in this sink-or-swim social media world, it is incredibly important to adopt to your business. To learn more about Facebook Pixels and how to leverage your visitor data on Facebook, visit our website at qodesocial.com. BREAKING – You can now schedule posts on Instagram!

BREAKING – You can now schedule posts on Instagram!

It finally happened – you can now schedule posts on Instagram.   No more awkwardly excusing yourself at work to post that photo to Insta at the most engaging time.   No more frantically trying to get good enough wi-fi to post in between subway stops, because 6pm is your account’s peak engagement time.   No more paying companies extravagant sums of money to post on your behalf. It’s here.   Previously, several social media management platforms such as Hootsuite had launched a work around where you needed to download an app, and a notification would prompt you to post at the time scheduled. But not only was  super convenient, it also was super glitchy.   Facebook, Instagram’s parent company, finally announced today that they have launched full scheduling integration, meaning you can schedule in Hootsuite and your photo and caption will automatically post at the desired time (more geeky details here). At least, that’s the idea.   We tried scheduling an image in Hootsuite for Instagram, but it didn’t work as well as expected.   Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:   Connect your Business Instagram Account to Hootsuite (on desktop) Connect your Facebook page that is attached to your Business Instagram Account Download the Hootsuite app (on mobile) Enable notifications in the app Schedule your post within Hootsuite   After we tried it out, the post disappeared from the “scheduled” stream in Hootsuite at the right time, but it didn’t actually post to Instagram.   Have you tried out Hootsuite’s new feature? Did you have better luck than us? Let us know below in the...
